I enlisted in 1971 with the options; infantry, airborne, Vietnam. I was in the Army for 7 years. I was a union Ironworker, Local 416, Los Angeles for 27 years. In 2004, I retired and started Kayak Lake Mead, which I operated for 19 years as a sole proprietor. March 2023 I sold Kayak Lake Mead. I'm retired now.
Running since I was a kid, rock climbing since '74, mountain biking since '83, paddling since '87, adventure racing since '94.
