Happy Friday, everyone! I'm going to take a bit of a break as I'm headed home to see the Ravishing Mrs. Ritter and the rest of my family. Benjamin graduates from the US Coast Guard Academy next Wednesday and then we're off to a nephew's wedding in Puerto Rico. Gonna be a busy trip home! I'll be back with more videos (hopefully some with the family) in a couple of weeks!

I've been meaning to update this video based on a comment someone recently left me. Many of the "early days" videos Mom made omitted the recipe in the details section or she wrote it down and held it up to the camera. I added an ingredients list and directions to make these based on Mom's video. This recipe is on my short list to reproduce. Hope this helps those looking to make these delicious and airy biscuits!

Looks like someone is trying to pull a fast one. There have been some replies to some of your comments passing along a WhatsApp number, talking about a "shift in the channel and to follow the WhatsApp for more." THAT IS NOT ME! Look at the name on the reply. It'll say "Pinned Phyllis Stokes and Son." That's how you spot the fake one. I've blocked the culprit and will clean off the comments. DON"T CALL THAT NUMBER AND DON"T SUBCRIBE TO THEIR CHANNEL. These people have rat-like cunning and will find some way to get your money.

I've been pretty busy this week with my company's top brass coming out for a visit and haven't been able to post any videos. Hopefully I can make it up to you with a video on some of the sights at the Dubai Expo. That video will drop today at 3pm Eastern time. Good morning everyone! I've taken a bit of a break as I've been feeling a bit under the weather the last few days. Actually, I went in to get tested and just found out I've got COVID. Symptoms are pretty mild, runny nose, some chills, and a little achy. Just like a cold. I'm already feeling better. So here in the UAE it means I'm quarantining for 10 days or until I get 2 negative tests. All is well and prayers are much appreciated!

Remembering my Mom who passed away two years ago yesterday after a year long fight with cancer. She was unbelievably moved by all your prayer, notes, cards, and gifts. I would sit with her for hours and read many of them to her. I believe she would be thrilled that you all are still here watching this channel. I think she'd be even more thrilled that Wesfield Academy continues to be blessed by this channel--and that's because you continue to watch my attempts to try to cook as well as she did. She continues to make a difference in this world and will continue to make a difference through her videos as long as you all want to watch them. That's my pledge.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers after yesterday's Houthi drone attack. It's happened several times over the past few years. This time, unfortunately, some folks were killed.
