REAKTION was formed in Barcelona in 2015 with the purpose of being a
thrash band with its own personality, open to other influences as a
result of the group's different personal tastes.
The band plays, as many specialized media have pointed out: "more than thrash" or âbeyond thrashâ.
Reaktion's discography consists of four albums, the first three are part of what the band has called: the "Trilogy of the Existence", thematically based on Stoic philosophy and
composed of "Blackmailed Existence" (2016), "Learning to Die" (2019)
and "To Expect Nothing" (2021).
On July 12th 2024, Reaktion has released their 4th studio album called: "Justice Flies", a thrash metal concept based on Jean-Paul Sartreâs âThe Fliesâ, which is an adaptation of The Oresteia, by Aeschyllus.
