It is with immense sadness that I share of Sunny Jim's passing; he was 8 1/2 years old. 😢
The past year has been quite rough for Sunny with various age-related issues slowing him down, which was tough to see. I take comfort that he is no longer suffering and know that he lived a pretty amazing life...how many bunnies get to be YouTube stars after all?!

Thank you all for welcoming Sunny Jim into your hearts over the years. His legacy will continue in the many lives he touched (sharing the realities of bunny ownership), as well as with his daughter Cora, son Fozzie, and granddaughter Kali who are living happily with my family (along with Moose and Storm). 🥰

For those who haven't seen the update posted on my website (and wondering where the heck I've been!), I have made the huge (and scary) decision to no longer breed Holland lop bunnies. 😲

I've spent the past six years fully committed to my bunnies, 365 days a year with no vacations and numerous sacrifices. Add in the expectations of constant videos and social media posts, losses of beloved bunnies, personal health issues, as well as the bunny drama (particularly with the last litter) ...sigh. 🥺 I'm exhausted, burned out, and emotionally deflated. I crave simplicity and relaxation in my life. 🌴

I want to slow down, spend more time with my family, downsize my herd and keep a few favorites as pets, continue sharing bunny care info on my website and YouTube (though much less frequently) and channel my inner Martha Stewart with more handmade bunny items in my Lop Shop. I also have another project that I'd like to focus on before I'm super old and my mouse hand gets arthritis (some of you already know what my other hobby is).
😊This isn't the end of Hook's Hollands but the beginning of a fresh new approach, with my wealth of bunny videos and rabbit care info remaining intact, just with fewer bunnies! Thank you all for your understanding and continued support. If you've read this far, give your 🐰 a hug from me! 🧡
