The Mulberry tree is showing off with its new foliage. Harvesting and dehydrating young leaves for tea is nearly a must! Mulberry tea not only tastes good but also helps strengthen your immune system, it may help regulate your cholesterol levels and so much more! Mulberry is widely used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to treat several illnesses. A few tips: *harvest in the morning, *dehydrate out of the sun *keep in an airtight container once dried, *use dry leaves and flowers for tea to release the full potential and flavour, *blend with other leaves and flowers while making tea. I usually blend with rosella, mango leaf, pomegranate leaf, moringa, and so on depending on what I have available. We enjoy a homegrown herbal tea blend every day. #Mulberry #tea #selfsufficientliving
