Hey Guys! Danny here,
I got a throat infection this week and my voice is healing (you can actually hear how messed up my voice is if you check out my 4th most recent TikTok lol). Its at about 90% but weâre gonna give it one more day to fully heal so weâll he recording the live pod tomorrow instead if today. Thankfully this shouldnt affect the date the episode releases for people who dont watch it live. Sorry for all of the delays. Weâll be back to our regular schedule after this week!

APOLOGY AND EXPLANATION!
Hey guys! Just clearing some of things up! The video going up on Patreon is the recording of our 40 minute long Otakus Anonymous panel at Comicpalooza. People seem concerned that theyâll be missing out on a full-fledged OA episode but that isnât the case. The con-âepisodeâ doesnât include talks of demon slayer, kaiju, or any anime from this season. We mostly just talk about the con, chat with the people who attended, and I talk about Camp Rock for far longer than I should have. Itâs the epitome of a âbonus videoâ and we want to give those who subscribe to our Patreon something special without making our Youtube viewers feel like theyâre missing out on a ârealâ episode. Everything we talked about in the panel-video weâll talk about again next week in the real episode - so itâs more like Patreonâs getting the content âfirstâ rather than âexclusivelyâ.
I do want to apologize for us not having an episode for all of our viewers this week, however. As some of you have mentioned, usually when we anticipate that weâll be out of town for a week we record 2 videos in one week so that we can release the second one while weâre away. I want to take full responsibility for us missing this week. Between the con coming up, working on my own channel, Anime IRL, and my second channel, I was feeling spread thin and didnât want to record 2 videos last week. Thatâs totally on me, and Iâm going to work to improve my time management so that this doesnât happen again. Iâm super sorry that this has resulted in some of our listeners feeling left out, and I assure you guys that we arenât going to start gating full episodes behind pay walls.
Thank you so much to everyone who attended the con. It meant the world to us that so many of you came out to see us, and Iâm deeply sorry to have made anybody feel like we were leaving people out of the fun.
