So @K.dot9 asked if I would write up my meal plan that I'm doing to shed the pounds.
Here it is. Also this loss of weight has happened with no exercise (Need a new hip soon) other than walking.
The main thing in my diet is that I have almost completely cut out sugar. No more sugary drinks and a lot more water.
I will have one "soda" a day which consists of flavored carbonated water, sugar free Celsius or pepsi zero
I cut out the late night snacks while winding down from the day. I still get horrible sleep as I only get about 5-6 hours of sleep a night. So this is my weekly food schedule. It will hard at first but after the first month it's super easy to maintain.
Main beverage is water throughout the day.
Any daily snacks between meals will be cheese, zero sugar Jolly Ranchers or Voortman Cookies.

Sunday- "Cheat" day even though the portions are small.
Breakfast: 1g sugar High protein shake 10 ounces with black coffee. Get good coffee.
Lunch: no real lunch but I will snack on carrots with Blue Cheese.
Dinner: Wife is Italian so Sunday dinner is big deal to her so usually either Baked Ziti, Gnocchi, Spaghetti You get the idea. I do a very small portion 6-8 ounces with a Salad. Either blue cheese or Balsamic.


Monday-
Breakfast : 1g sugar High protein shake 10 ounces
Lunch: Chicken or steak Salad Blue Cheese.
Dinner: 3- 5 pieces of Salmon and Tuna Nigari Low sodium soy sauce with wasabi. Green tea.

Tuesday-
Breakfast : 1g sugar High protein shake 10 ounces , black coffee.
Lunch: 2 peppered Hardboiled eggs
Dinner: Baked Chicken (seasonings will vary) Asparagus. Salad Blue Cheese.

Wednesday- Film Day a lot of walking.
Breakfast: 1g sugar High protein shake 10 ounces with black coffee.
Lunch: around 8oz Ribeye with Mushrooms and onions.
Dinner: 3- 5 pieces of Salmon and Tuna Nigari Low sodium soy sauce with wasabi. Green tea.

Thursday-
Breakfast : 1g sugar High protein shake 10 ounces and black coffee.
Lunch: Clam Chowder or salad depending on how hungry I am.
Dinner: Chef Salad with Ribeye chunks\ Blue Cheese.

Friday Film day a lot of walking.
Breakfast : 1g sugar High protein shake 10 ounces and black coffee.
Lunch: BLT Sandwich on sourdough
Dinner: 3- 5 pieces of Salmon and Tuna Nigari Low sodium soy sauce with wasabi. Green tea.

Saturday-
Breakfast: 4 eggs over medium Bacon.
Lunch: no lunch
Dinner; Baked chicken (seasoning will vary) Winter mix.

So that's pretty much my weekly food schedule. It was pretty hard at first but with varying the seasoning on chicken days it became very easy for me.
It will be hard at first if you decide to try this but sticking to it has shown real results for me. 80lbs down with another 20 to go for my goal.
You can do it if you give a real effort. Just drop the sugars out of your diet and you will see the results.

Ok, so I haven’t talked about the obvious. Yes I’m losing weight. It all started back in July. I went and saw Deadpool&wolverine and this scene (pictured) woke me up about how bad of shape I was in. My goal is to get as close to this as possible. Hugh is 10 years older than me and Holy Shit. I started at 297 lbs in July and currently at 228. How did I do it? 100% not ozempic. I changed my diet. Seriously, that’s it. No more soda, zero sugar snacks, zero sugar jolly ranchers. Sushi 3x a week. Zero sugar protein shake for breakfast. Some sort of chicken salad for lunch. Fish/steak for dinner. Little to no carbs. It was hard at first but I’m so used to it now. My overall plan is to get down to 180 then start my weight training regiment. 10 year video will be up tomorrow and I want to make it another 10 years. Thank you all for allowing me to entertain you for this long.
