Jazz Saxophonist Paul F. Kendall is a multi woodwind artist with 6 CDs out on jazz indie labels as a leader. He was a member of The Charli Persip Superband in NYC in 1990/1991, was a founding member of Long Island based Funk Filharmonic in 1985, and has performed internationally with The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, and in the US with The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, and The Glenn Miller Orchestra, as well as many other national acts. He appears on several Jazz CDs as a sideman on Tenor, Baritone, Alto, and Soprano saxes, Bass clarinet, Bb Clarinet, and Flute. My philosophy after years of playing jazz is to preserve that American Songbook. It has proven over and over that it can challenge and nurture our great artform.
