Hey James - I haven’t lived in my mom’s basement since 2017!
I do understand what he’s saying to a certain degree. I’ve said some of the same things in a nicer way, but the pixel peeping can be exhausting. At some point we do just need to enjoy movies for being movies.
That said, clearly True Lies is not his team’s best work. But I still think it’s the best it’s looked, and the same for Aliens and Titanic and The Abyss.
