Assassin’s Creed Shadows now releases March 20, 2025

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredible fans and dedicated teams for your unwavering support since our announcement in September to further refine and polish Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Since November, we’ve been thrilled to share our progress through Gameplay Overviews, and the overwhelming excitement has truly inspired us. Each week has brought valuable feedback from our community. While we’ve already made remarkable strides, we believe a few additional weeks are needed to implement that feedback and ensure an even more ambitious and engaging day-one experience.
Accordingly, the new release date is March 20, 2025. We remain committed to delivering a high-quality, immersive experience—fostered by ongoing dialogue between our players and development teams.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is now available on Steam! Step into the robes of Basim Ibn Ishaq as he grows from amateur thief to master Assassin.
A shorter, more narrative-driven game than recent entries in the series, Assassin's Creed Mirage takes place 20 years before the events of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Built as an homage to the first Assassin's Creed games, Mirage pays tribute to the series' roots, as players join the proto-Assassin order known as the Hidden Ones and grow to become a master assassin. Baghdad in the ninth century was a bustling metropolis, and it serves as the perfect dense, urban hunting ground as Basim stalks his prey using the series' largest assortment of tools to date.
While they haven't quite adopted the name "Assassins" at this point in history, make no mistake: The Hidden Ones are a powerful and established order, with resources and the all-important creed to guide them. As Basim explores Baghdad, he'll be able to get contracts and upgrades from a network of Hidden One bureaus throughout the city, collect clues on his targets, and take them down with swift assassinations.

A new Assassin's Creed Nexus VR gameplay trailer has confirmed the release date for Ubisoft's upcoming VR stealth-action game: November 16, for Meta Quest devices. It will be priced at $39.99.
Ubisoft calls Nexus "the first AAA VR title of the franchise" and lets you play as three separate characters from Assassin's Creed games of yore: Ezio (Assassin's Creed II), Connor (Assassin's Creed 3), and Kassandra (Assassin's Creed Odyssey). Thus, you'll visit Renaissance Italy, the American Revolution, and Ancient Greece.

They will be running community events over a two-week period spanning from Wednesday Feb 22nd to Tuesday March 7th, which include opportunities where you can win some exclusives prizes generously provided by community members and supporters, including the AC development team. The initial goal is to raise $5,000 USD for Save The Children’s relief efforts.
Throughout the two weeks of the fundraiser, these communities will offer many opportunities in which to win prizes, both physical and digital — many of these are exclusively available through this campaign, thanks to the gracious donations of many collaborators, companies and community members.

THE LAST CHAPTER
On December 6, Ubisoft will be releasing our final content update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, wrapping up two amazing years of post-launch support. Title Update 1.6.2 will include some exciting new content for the game, including The Last Chapter, a touching and intimate conclusion to Eivor’s saga. This epilogue will tie up some of the storylines developed throughout the game and offer closure to your time among the Raven Clan.
To access The Last Chapter when it releases on December 6, you’ll need to complete the following key parts of the game:
- Complete the main storyline by pledging to all territories of England
- Complete the mythical story arcs of Asgard and Jotunheim
- Upgrade your settlement to level 5 and construct the Jomsviking barracks
- Kill all targets of the Order of the Ancients and unveil its leader
