Not every adventure goes as planned. This was my attempt at a 48-hour winter wild camping challenge on the North Downs Way. From sweating through my hike to freezing temperatures and a chaotic night under the stars, everything that could go wrong… did. But even in failure, there’s beauty to be found.
From the eerie glow of the fields to the peaceful charm of an ancient church and the little details of nature, moments like these remind me why I love the outdoors—even when it’s tough. 🌲
