I seriously wish that this post would end up in every millennial parent’s fyp.So you taking away your kid’s phone ain’t gonna do anything,especially if they’re a teen.The reason why they spend too much time on the phone is because that you are not giving them the love and attention that they want,especially in that age where everything around them are changing AKA they are growing up.But,the people in their phone are constantly giving them love and telling them that they matter,and you taking away their phone is gonna make things worse as no one is there to make them comfortable.Take good care of your kids,especially if they’re a teen,cus if you don’t,they WILL find other people who’ll do it for them through music n stuff.I hope that at least 1 percent of this got into your brain as parents are the most difficult species to understand things that are tough for their kids.
And please,if you wanna talk shit about your kids,please don’t do it in front of them or when they are home,it hurts,instead there is plenty of time when they go to school.And no,they’re most probably not enjoying their life at school."You’re being ungrateful”,No they’re not,they’re just exhausted on constantly being criticised and pressured by their parents.
If you,parents are not ready to change,you can keep wondering on why the suicide rates are increasing among youths.
