Coming out today at 2 PM CST: Section 8 of the Ouachita Trail. This one is 32.5 miles of gorgeous; Flatside Wilderness, Crystal Prong, Flatside Pinnacle, and all the cool shelters along the way. I’m joined by Moe of the @HikerTrashHusbands for this one, and we can’t wait for you to see it!

Today I’m working on the video for the final hike of the trips out east this summer - the Percy Peaks hike.
The Percy Peaks are two twin mountains in the northern reaches of the White Mountains in New Hampshire. I’ve seen them from @HikerTrashHusbands back porch since I first visited them in 2021. They captivated me from day one.
Fast forward two years and I finally got to see them up close. Let me tell you, the experience was nothing short of breathtaking; scrambling up that rock face, the proliferation of mushrooms and moss, even the clouds of mosquitoes that could have easily lifted us up the mountains. It’s a memory I’m glad we made together and one I can’t wait to share with you this Saturday, if I can only finish!

Coming at 4:15 PM CST today: my hike of the Blackhead Range with Moe of @HikerTrashHusbands! This one was a big challenge for this Okie, but I did it and had the best day in the Catskills with Moe.
