Such a horrible tragedy last night over DC. We are going to discover some tragic details over the next few days. In this mornings press conference, the reporters kept asking if they can say 100% that aviation is totally safe. Nobody can say that. Nobody ever could, nor will they be able to say that. But aviation is safe, especially commercial aviation. Tragic accidents happen, and when they do, we all demand answers, and actions. There will be changes, and we will all be safer because of those changes. After spending the night finding every scrap of detail that I could, and putting it into a video, I would feel completely safe flying today, even in and out of Washington.
Stay safe, and support the people who have lost those they loved.
