Last year on 27 July 2022 I set myself a goal of practicing every day for a year and getting a BNR every day. Did I get one every day. No, somedays the best I could do was a "Ghostrun" and a few days of travel knocked me off the table completely. It's been a bit of a grind and I'm not sure which improved more, my pool game or my video editing skills.
What's next for AF Poolguy? Well I'm still going to try to practice every day but don't think I'm going to record/edit every day. I'll save that for the weekends, hopefully I'll be able to get enough material to spread out through the week. And I'm thinking about trying voiceovers for some of the better runs.
What would you like to see for phase two?

Shoutout to Anthony Cleveland @tiger3396 for catching a slight roll out on my table I didn't even know was there.
He spotted a deflection in one of my older videos https://youtu.be/PPA3ffdOQ80?t=28
This might explain why I sometimes have issues cutting balls up the rail into the top left corner.
Now I just have to get it fixed, or deal with it.

There are three ways to win a game of 9-ball in one inning. Make the 9 on the break (golden break), combo/carom the 9 ball early, or run all 9 balls out.

Some folks asked where I’m aiming for the 2D ball break. So I set up a tripod over my table to get some pics. Apparently I’m not hitting as close to the head ball as I thought I was. I’m trying to hit the 2D ball as full as possible without touching the head ball.
I need to get to work on that.
