We've finished Lynx Brutality, so now it's time for the annual @PolenarTactical podcast. This time it's two hours with Žiga, me, @PrintShootRepeat and @FirepowerUnited ...
Why don't we use flares for illumination in night matches like Moons Out Goons Out? Well, the 1 Shepherd crew did experiment with the idea, because we wanted to use them. But here's Match Director Les explaining the problems, with both 26.5mm flares and maritime distress flares...

Today's video is my first time shooting a legit factory Glock 18 - but it's all full-auto fire and so I'm not posting it here. Instead, I have posted it to my other platforms (Patreon, Floatplane, Playeur, and History of Weapons & War). It is free on Playeur, and available to subscribers on the other sites. Eventually YouTube is most likely going to further restrict firearms content on the platform, and so I think it is important to build a viable home elsewhere to be ready. If you agree, please consider subscribing to History of Weapons & War, where your money supports eight different educational firearms channels.
@Hoplopfheil used Moons Out Goons Out 2024 as a platform for reviewing the Opsin Sionyx digital night vision unit. He used one as his helmet-mounted NOD throughout the match, and with his extensive night vision experience overall he's able to give a really good and balanced review of its performance. Is it the future of night vision or is it hot garbage? Have a look and see...

I've very excited to announce my newest book! This is the second in a six-volume series on small arms of WWII, this one focusing on the Soviet Union. Many of the Soviet weapons are recognized here in the West but not well understood, and I hope to help correct this with the book. Check it out!
@KitBadger has his Moons Out Goons Out 2024 loadout video live now (and I think his stage runs publish tomorrow). He was a beast, shooting on both the staff match and the main match, and camping on the range the whole time.
C Does done did Moons Out Goons Out 2024, and posted a long video about his experience. Want to know what the match was like for the regular competitors instead of the Brass/Hop/Luke CringeFluencer (tm) (lol) perspective? Check it out!
The first full video from Moons Out Goons Out 2024 is posted, and it's from BrassFacts. It was a lot of fun hanging out with him, Luke, and Hop for the match weekend, and I'm glad he appears to have enjoyed the match!
At Forgotten Weapons I think the most interesting guns out there are the most obscure ones. I try to search out experimental and prototype weapons and show you how they work, in addition to more conventional guns that you may not have heard of before. You're much more likely to find a video on the Cei Rigotti or Webley-Fosbery here than an AR or Glock. So, do you want to learn about something new today? Then stick around!
