17 years ago we went all in on the ultimate tournament. You couldāve folded me away like a trash hand when the chips were down, we ran it up only to get knocked down again- but fortunately for me, you got sticky and held on. Iāll be making a video soon, but had to announce the events of the evening. A unanimous 5 out of 5 vote from the committee members to appoint me to the school committee! I had family and friends from all over the country watching the vote on our townās livestream- instantly blowing up my phone when I won the vote. Such a surreal feeling. Thank you to all who sent their support! Now the real work begins!
The time has come for me and the other candidate for school committee to make our final pitches at the town forum. Unfortunately, the vote has been postponed until next week to ensure enough time has passed between the announcement of the open seat and the final vote- so after tonight I will have to wait even longer to learn my fate. š©
First off, congrats to the 2/22 club waking up to 2 bars on WMR today! More importantly, thereās seems to be a transcript system deviation from previous years. Iām seeing some reports of some PATH filers whoāve been N/A after Fridays transcript update waking up this morning (Saturday) and suddenly having transcripts available and updated with a new cycle code (changing them from 05ers to 01) and many have a DD of 2/23. Normally 01ās wouldnāt update until Monday, however this Monday is a holiday so they have apparently started that update early. Remember, transcripts update all day, so many people could still see an update today if they havenāt yet if they are one of the lucky ones to get a cycle code change. If thereās no cycle code on your transcript thereās no way to know if it will change until it posts. If thereās already a cycle code, it will not change, that is set. Of course for people that are still 05s, youād still have to wait until next Friday for the update.
I said it on the stream multiple times, but the IRS has confirmed- DO NOT WAIT for Congress to pass this bill, they will issue guidance if it somehow passes before the end of tax season

Been seeing many similar āI just filed todayā comments on many of the tax forums. It is such a big mistake to file weeks ahead of the official opening. Youāre at an increased risk of a manual review, especially if you filed before you received all the necessary tax forms from employers, 1099s, healthcare forms etcā¦ I totally empathize with people needing refunds desperately to keep their lives afloat, but if your return gets held up because of mistakes and omissions, the refund will come very, very lateā¦ if ever. I believe the #1 economic problem for the American people is debt. The financial system in this country is rigged against the average American. Itās designed to keep you where you are, with little growth or economic stratification. Even ātrustedā and established financial advisors and institutions are incentivized to keep you mired in debt for as long as possible, meanwhile those in power and those with the financial means see limitless wealth. Thereās no such thing as āgoodā debt and ābad debtā. In my eyes, all debt is bad debt, and itās up to you, thie individual,how much youāre willing to accept. Obviously, everyoneās financial situation is different, but a common thread I find with most who are struggling financially is being overburdened by debt and feeling helpless about it. I will be doing a debt-specific livestream this week where I will talk about my thoughts on how we got here, why the same debt relief methods seem to fail or fizzle out for many people, and I will lay out my āDTOā debt reduction method and why I think it is far more efficient than any debt management plan out there.
