Good morning folks!
We've been giving a lot of thought to how we can make our community here even better and more connected. As you know, keeping our channel running smoothly and creating content involves quite a bit of time and resources, and up until now, it's been powered by good will, lots of caffeine and the few trusted channel members who have already signed up to support our team of four Nordic dudes who talk about the European perspective in geo politics.
For less than the cost of a coffee a month ($2.99), you can become a member. This small contribution would go a long way in helping us keep the channel ad-free, so we can focus more on delivering content that you love without any interruptions - obviously youtube has their ads, this is something we can't change.
But more than that, it's a chance for us to grow closer as a community. Today is the day when our resident Dane and deep voice maestro leaves for his NATO rotation in Estonia, and while that is sad we've still got him contributing to the content and videos on the channel in his spare time, he just won't do many voice overs while he is there. Tuomas, Jonas and Magnus who have all done voiceovers in videos before will take over this part while Max is in Estonia, but Max will still be in the comments reading your messages. Well, folks, it seems like only yesterday I was talking to myself (and my microphone) in my tiny office in a military barracks somewhere in Denmark, but here we are, six months later, and our little community has ballooned to nearly 7000 strong! The inbox is starting to look like a Black Friday sale at a U.S marketing convention, stuffed with companies eager to turn our fabulous audience into their cash cows. But fear not! We're not about to bombard you with endless ads for sketchy vapes, VPNs that slow your internet to a crawl, or tank games that crash more than they shoot. That's not my style.
No, sir! The Nordic trio running this channel (that's a Dane, a Swede, and a Norwegian, in case you were wondering) wants to keep things classy and give back to the awesome folks who tune in. So, if you've got something cool you think our community would actually use, or if you're the big boss or marketing manager of some company itching to get the word out, don't be shy!

While many people seem to enjoy my videos, video editing is not my strongest ability. It takes a long time for me and I feel my value is given in writing and recording the content. One of the nasty side-effects of having been a deployed soldier is that we were often around some nasty substances. In Iraq in particular, depleted uranium shells, along with various other things used as lubricants in machinery and a nasty mix of dust and particles of unknown origin. Out of the guys in my squad, 3 have had various forms of respiratory cancer and issues around that with two of them dying at a young age. I'm lucky to only have developed severe asthma and issues with my throat, but it still makes it hard for me to speak consistently. Hence, I've had some help with the voiceover in the recent video, and will likely have to rely on voice overs for some of my content when I have flareups. I nevertheless hope that you enjoy the content, I write the scripts and produce the videos myself.

Sorry for missing an upload last week, I've had to rush through some training at work for some new starters. I'll have a new video for you guys this week. Stay safe out there. Considering my work assignment over the last few weeks was in Finland I've had the chance to discuss with some Finnish military colleagues about how they'd respond to invasion, so naturally the video will be among these lines. A channel dedicated to rating armies, kit and power projection across the globe with a particular focus on the Nordics and Europe. We also upload geopolitical videos every now and then.
