Welp, after ridiculous amounts of driving, my "roving studio" came to its final stop this week.

Unfortunate - though all things considered, I also feel extremely fortunate things weren't worse.

During this past week, while coming to a complete stop, the front wheel of my Jeep felt like it caved in. I jumped out to look and found the front driver's side wheel was dislodged. Later, the mechanic found my engine cradle had rotted, separated, and resulted in the driveshaft pulling out of the transmission.

Fortunately, this breaking point didn't happen while I was driving (especially during this past Saturday when driving 11 hours to-and-back from Minnesota for a church visit). Who knows what could have happened if the engine cradle broke while driving?

Despite the setback, counting my blessings today. Heavenly Father protected.

I'm fortunate where this hunk of metal got me and hopefully you've enjoyed the roadside recording it provided as my spiritual journey has progressed around the country.

Future videos will be a bit delayed. For now, off to find the next "studio on wheels."

Can you believe this!?

Before going to bed last night, I was hopeful we'd surpass five figures with $10,000 raised for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

In the past few hours, we're now over $12,000 raised 🙌 🎉👏 🎉

Thanks to all the Good Samaritans out there for the donations and prayers to help families in need of healing. 🙏 IMMENSE GRATITUDE to all of you.

Had a good chat recently with my friend, Steve Pynakker of ‪@MormonBookReviews‬ - talking about my recent conversion into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and mutual concern regarding the state of affairs from our faith background. Praying that Steve gets better.

To get an idea if another round of 52 Churches in 52 Weeks would occur, what mix of church visits (or possible theme) would YOU prefer?

Fun interview with Rick Bennett at ‪@GospelTangents‬. Rick is the go-to Latter-day Saint historian who leaves no stone unturned when exploring Mormon history. He invited me on his podcast and we talked all things church - from Megachurches, Metal Rock churches, to Mormon churches. It's a five-part series, check it out!

Over the past year, a lot has happened since 52 Churches in 52 Weeks took off.

Several of the most engaging have been visits to Latter-day Saint churches. During my first visit to an LDS ward, all I did was sit down and not say a peep to anyone.

It didn't take long to see how genuine, kind, and compelling LDS was not just to me, but everyone. After exploring other Restoration churches, the same thing happened. It was subtle. Yet, you could tell Book of Mormon-believing churches were different when it came to exemplifying Jesus Christ to others.

Awhile back, I was given an invitation to visit the studio of Saints Unscripted - the go-to YouTube channel for all things Latter-day Saints. We had a fun interview talking about the church trips and other fun topics. Check out the interview now on YouTube!

The past few days have been overwhelmingly humbling from the reaction to my recent video at General Conference. Thank you to everyone who took time to watch, like, and comment. I hope to respond as much as possible in the next few days. In the meantime, my good friend, Steve Pynakker, reached out for an interview last week to learn more. Take a look!

What in the world happened at Asbury?!

Steven Pynakker from @MormonBookReviews reached out to me to get the inside scoop on my witness account on what happened at this Christian college chapel that went 300+ hours of nonstop prayer-&-praise. Due to the town (THE TOWN!) reaching capacity on Sunday, officials needed to END it on Thursday due to the overflooding of people wanting to take part.

A phrase I often heard during my visit was "The Great Opportunity," a golden chance to STOMP on the slithering trends that have been slowly chewing away at The Church. With the Asbury Outpouring, Revival, whatever-you-want-to-call-it, Christianity has proven to be a YOUTH movement when things needed to be shaken up.

Will the results from Asbury result in the same fruits? Only time will tell.

Hey all, hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! Recently, had a fun interview with Greg Matsen on the Cwic Show. He does all kinds of discussions - mainly with issues related to Latter-day Saints, though will also have interfaith discussions with theologians and leaders from other religions. He invited me on and we talked about some of my church trips. Check it out!

If you've watched the channel, two visits that have garnered a lot of curiosity was the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). I was shocked! How LDS reaches out and then follows-up with newcomers has been something I've never seen before - especially compared to other church communities. Even though I remain skeptical of the Book of Mormon as a lifetime Protestant - dare I say it, LDS is so Christ-like and energetic when it comes to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Steve Pynakker from ‪@MormonBookReviews‬ approached me to do an interview, and we explore more in a great discussion. Take a look!
