I want to be perfectly clear with one thing.
This whole channel is just me doing synth stuff on my free time. I’ve had the great opportunity to BETA test the OP-1 Field for Teenage Engineering, I genuinely believe that it’s a fantastic device, I would even go on to say that I adore it
I also genuinely feel that the people working at Teenage Engineering ( the ones I’ve been in contact with at least ) are great, humble people. Who are incredible at what they do!
With that said I’ve erased all of my latest OP-1 Field videos and won’t post any more video’s of the OP-1 Field.
It’s one thing to get snide remarks about spending money on a $2k “toy” it’s another when that conversation leads telling me it’s my fault for the bad reply’s because I called out the BS.. the final straw is being physically threatened…. Over a synthesizer..
Again this is my hobby, I’ve actively chosen not to monetize this channel because I don’t want this to be my job. So dealing with this kind of stuff is just not worth it..
Thanks for everyone who’s followed me through the years, I genuinely appreciate you all. I will continue to post videos with bleeps and bloops, just not about the OP-1 Field.
