We had our very first mountain hut hiking experience at Albertheim hut in Switzerland.
The trail was an easy trail of 3.5 km with an ascend of almost 500 m. The elevation is a gradual one except for the last 25 mins of trail which was quite steep & litle difficult. But the rest of the trail is easy with amazing 360° views. The hut stay is a must. They have all the facilities just like any hotel. & its food was soooo delicious. We did this mountain hut hiking with our friends which made it all the more memorable for us.
