Kyrgyz National University in Bishkek is the oldest and largest higher education institution in Kyrgyz Republic. Established in 1925 as the Kyrgyz Institute of Education, it recently partnered with LN University, India, to launch its Faculty of Medicine. This collaboration marks the first Central Asian university to have a Faculty of Medicine associated with an Indian university. The university now offers a 5-year MD Physician program using LN University’s teaching platform from Bhopal, India.
