The song tells the story of someone at a crucial crossroads in their lives. Realizing that theyâve become someone they no longer recognize, whoâs sacrificed all of their morals and principles to succeed and gain monetary wealth at the expense of others. Unfortunately, this person is left unfulfilled and hollow, wondering if they can ever find themselves again. This feeling of self-doubt and awareness of oneâs failures is clearly palpable through PETER WILSONâs heart-rending vocals. However, the song also conveys hope and personal growth, making it a successful conclusion to the âFreedomâs Doorâ album cycle, reflecting the emotional ups and downs of its making and PETER WILSONâs life experience. Soon, the quartet was taking their energetic music to the U.S. East Coast and throughout the United States. In Europe, too, they set first scent marks with interviews and sampler contributions in renowned Rock magazines to the album ââŠAnd The Fire Withinâ and the 2022 EP âRemnantsâ, on which PETER WILSON can now build with âFreedomâs Doorâ. He is joined by both guitarists Glenn Sherman and Phill Ortiz and Harold Skeetes (i.a. Ad Astra) on bass.
