Kyoto-based Yukihiro Atsumi uses traditional Japanese musical styles with the guitar to dually celebrate the unique aspects of traditional culture & mimics the confluence of ancient & modern influences in today’s Japan.
In 2016, he launched the “Hogaku 2.0” project w/ “Japanese Guitar Song Book”. In 2018, Atsumi released his 2nd album, “Nippon Note 2.0”. In 2020, the 3rd album, "Kachofugetsu", was released & played on over 50 different radio stations in 17 countries.
