The Global Conservation Corps (GCC) is a non-profit organization bridging the gap between communities and wildlife through technology-enabled, conservation-driven education - the Future Rangers Program. We work with educators in local communities to raise the next generation of wildlife protectors, conservation leaders and sustainable economists. We also support wildlife rangers in South Africa and other areas who are on the front line of our wildlife's defenses. Earth's biodiversity and iconic animal species are being wiped out at an alarming rate due to the threat of poaching and the illegal animal trade. We believe this tide can be turned through educating and empowering communities and young leaders to stand up for and protect their local nature and wildlife. The Global Conservation Corps has committed itself to investing in both people and wildlife to tackle the poaching crisis, fight climate change and move towards a more sustainable society.
