Hi! My name is Sonali Thakker, I’m a stand up comic from India and a freelance writer.
I’m from Mumbai, have toured across the country performing in different cities and have also performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival (2019, 2023).
I’m a bilingual comic and do stand up in Hindi and English.
When not performing on stage, I can be seen hogging the charging station at a bougie cafe ‘working’ on a script because I’m also a freelance writer. I’ve written for many award shows and many scripts of The Awkward Interview for Netflix’s YT channel.
