Believe it or not, Iām alive AND I have a sawmill video coming out THIS FRIDAY! I appreciate your patience during my downtime and this video should make up for it. Iāve never struggled with a log as bad as this one and I have lots of camera angles that captured them mayhem in all its glory. A day and a half to edit. Stay tuned!

Unfortunately I donāt have a video to post this week but Iām going to make up for it BIG TIME next week. I will be volunteering my sawmill services to the National Park Service at historic Fort Vancouver! Iāll be on-site milling white oak logs into Timbers that will be used to rebuild the cannon carriages in this picture. Iām excited to be able to work on this project! Brett Lottman, the owner of the Wood-Mizer dealership in Wood Village, OR, has given me a box of 4 degree Double-Hard blades for me to use on this project. Sorry guys! I couldnāt post a video this week. Our power has been cut for the past two days due to the threat of wildfires. The fire pictured broke out 6 miles from us last night and we were on the edge of the evacuation boundary. Iām hooked up to our RV and ready to roll if need be.
