I'm making some serious progress on the DIY military overland camping trailer conversion. Just having a hard time sourcing some sheet metal in my area so unfortunately no video this weekend. I'd rather have a quality Video to post vs. Trying to just post to post, hope you can understand! Thanks for checking in. Have a great weekend!

See the last picture for sneak peak of next coming video. SO MANY DESIGN OPTIONS FOR PROJECT TACKLE BOX! I think I've landed on a iteration that I will test further. It all looks good on paper until you go to actually build it!

What do you think?

YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! Feedback on my latest project has been amazing. The next video will be live Sunday, working on a gate and some major upgrades!

I think I also landed on a name, suggested by my good friend Adrian. The project is officially called "The Tackle Box" a play on the name from my previous project which was called "The Chuck Box".

What do you think?

Hey there!

It's crazy how fast time flies. I try my best to keep a consistent upload schedule but have taken a bit of a break (which has felt far from it) just living life, getting together with friends, enjoying time with family and my boy, work has never been more busy. We were also all sick for 2 weeks which didn't do us any favors - it's that time of year I guess.

I got out last weekend for a camp/hunt/fish - going back to basics, camping in my ground tent! I chose not to bring my camera, which is a rare occasion. Just needed the time to think and reset.

I've had crazy fomo (fear of missing out) in terms of feeling the need to post videos, but my integrity is that I want to only post high quality content. I just wanted to share a little update as you may not follow me elsewhere. I'm doing well and have not gone away. I will continue to post entertaining and informative videos... But keep in mind this is a hobby for me, and unfortunately it doesn't pay the bills. Maybe one day, but right now I spend close to +40 hours working on any given video.

Life is too short to spend it all working. Remember to get out there and enjoy the fruits of your labor. You deserve it. Call up that buddy and go on that trip. Plan something fun with your family.

Alright, thanks for reading - on to the next one!

What would you consider a reasonable budget for a simple 4-season Cargo Trailer Camper Conversion? Size: 5x8 - 5x10, including the price of the trailer.

What would you pay for a conversion of this size?

FYI it's hard to find a clean used trailer for under $3,000 CAD.
