Well that's me out of action for a few weeks my friends.
My shoulder surgery got put forward from Friday 13th to yesterday and I'm now at home recovering.
Here I am having breakfast at the best hospital, Grace Hospital in Tauranga. 15/10 for the best care. It was nice getting pampered , I didn't want to come home.
Take care out there β€οΈ

So YouTube have changed things a bit for creators and one of the things is making ads automated now and trying to stop us from putting ads in manually.
AI puts ads in where it thinks there are breaks in the video that make it better for viewers apparently but creators are finding out it isn't working very well and pumping ads out all over the place.
I wish I didn't have to put ads in but YouTube won't recommend your videos if I go manual ads. I don't have much support on Patreon and I rely on adsense income to pay the bills and the cost of making content so I have to do what they say.
My apologies if you are getting too many ads on the videos. π€

I want to give a shout out to Rob and his whΔnau whom I met at of all places Pack and Spend last week.
Rob has a YouTube channel called Sole Adventures NZ hailing from the Hawkes Bay and is one of the few fishing channels that I follow. Rob also watches my channel and always leaves good comments on my videos.
A real nice guy with a laid back channel that's nice to relax too if you enjoy some NZ fishing. Go over and check his channel out and give him a sub and leave a comment.
Let's help get Sole Adventures NZ to 1000 subs ππ½ youtube.com/@SoleAdventuresNZ

Kia ora everyone, I hope the Flounder Catch & Cook video made you hungry, they were tasty as!
Before that video Dean and I had an awesome day out chasing kingfish. I'm finishing off editing that one at the moment and we had a great day out on the water then some smoked kingfish for lunch. π
Here are a couple of pics including Dean's late brother's stickbaits he made with a nice kingfish from our trip out.

Busy pruning blueberries last week giving the shoulder a good workout.
Some people I worked with watch my videos and were impressed with the smoked pies so I asked if they were keen to try them out.
Last day of work we shared some delicious smoked pies and they brought some eel / tuna to add to the table.
I made a video cooking this tasty feast. π¬
Yay, finally got approval from ACC today to have my shoulder operation and fix up the big tear.
Hopefully get back to climbing mountains again.

Kia ora and welcome to my channel. I live in a little spot surrounded by the sea lakes rivers and the bush here in the North Island of New Zealand.
