This week I finalized a project which took at least 10 years and I hiked (with a small backpack) Custura Sărății (Kirchendach in German), one of the most difficult marked trails in the country. This way I finished in pieces the whole ridge of Făgăraș mountains marked with the red band, using the variant between Plaiul Foii and Turnu Roșu. The next logical step is to do it in one go using different variants in the two ends, Tămaș mountain in the east and Lazaret village in the west, but climbing the chimneys in Custura Sărății with a big backpack is a real challenge and not without risks.
