not a place of eternal torment but a state of mind characterized by negative emotions and a sense of separation from ones true divine self. Its a result of negative thoughts, harmful beliefs, Dogma and a lack of self awareness.
People can choose to dwell in negative or positive states based on their thoughts beliefs and actions.
