It was founded by Mr. J. Boopesh Reddy in the year 2013. Formerly, Bren Corporation was known as SJR Group, which was founded in 1973.
In the last five years, Bren's approach to project development has undergone a sea change. Apartment buildings and residential designs came after commercial tech parks and high-street shopping. Bren has ventured into various endeavors, including education, trading, interiors, and even high-end furniture, all supported by a construction tradition that dates back three decades. To reintegrate orphaned and separated macaques into social groups, Bren's team of architects and engineers created and constructed a contemporary primate socializing habitat on the hospital campus in Bangalore.
