Nina Ricci is a modern American folksinger, songwriter, and guitarist from Nashville, Tennessee. She is a graduate of the preeminent contemporary music school, Berklee College of Music. At Berklee she earned her bachelor’s degree in Professional Music concentrating in performance, songwriting, and music business and she has a minor in American Roots Music.
Nina’s music has been influenced by divers idioms: Appalachian Folk music derived from English, Scottish, and Irish roots, popular Jazz and Blues music of the 1930’s and 1940’s, Revivalist Folk of the 1960’s, heartfelt songwriter’s of the 60’s and 70’s, classic and theatrical rock from the 60’s-80’s; as well as rustic, barely documented American Folk music.
