Karl Gnass is an internationally renowned master figure artist and legendary teacher in the animation field. He's taught industry animators, character designers, and storyboard artists at major animation studios and universities in the U.S., as well as throughout Europe. Animation studios bring him aboard as an anatomy and story consultant for feature films. He's taught in-studio at the Animation Guild’s non-profit school, the American Animation Institute (AAI) for 28 years, and was a preliminary judge on the Annie Awards Nomination Selection Committee for 8 years.
Karl is currently teaching online live streaming life and figure drawing classes with students participating from over 30 countries around the world.
