Merry Christmas everyone,

I hope you all are having a great holiday season with friends and family. This was a nice Xmas surprise for me this morning.
I started this Chanel to;
1) Showcase and share some of the adventures I go on with people. When I would tell most people about going on a 3-4 day backpacking trip, most of them would look at me like I was crazy. Sleeping in the woods or hiking alone is a foreign concept to ALOT of people! Us crazies are a chosen few hahaha
2) Help myself improve in weaker areas such as public speaking and communication by filming myself and posting it in a public furum for anyone to see. In this regard, I do believe I have come a long way and still have much room to grow. If you look at some of the older videos I'm monotone robot like lol.
I have come to realize that what sets you apart on this platform is your personality and your own individual take on things, hence YOUTube. It is great to take inspiration from those that have come before but, Noone wants a cheap knockoff of someone else. In that regard, I am going to continue to just be myself and show more of my goofy, weird side. It may not be for everyone, and that's okay.
Man, this is getting a little long winded. I love the community that we have built here. Thank you to those that have been watching, liking and commenting on the videos from the beginning. Although I may never have a high output of videos, I plan to make them the highest quality/entertainment value that I can. If you have any suggestions for videos you would like to see, leave them in a comment.

I'm going to be premiering my solo Black Forest Trail video tomorrow 05/19 at 8pm Eastern.

We haven't kicked it old-school solo higher mileage in a while, so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity for some of us to hang out.
Once the video goes live it will basically be a live stream where we can chat among ourselves. We can talk about the video, backpacking in general, or anything really.
The run time is around 1hr 20 minutes and I think you guys are going to really enjoy this one.
So grab a drink and a snack and I hope to see a few of your tomorrow night at 8pm to step foot on the Black Forest Trail!

What's the longest mileage backpacking trip you have ever completed? Mine is around 70 Miles for both the Quehanna Trail and Laurel highlands hiking trail.
