Is the Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 IF EX DG lens for APS-C cameras or full-frame cameras?

This is the question I got from one of my video post.

Here are my findings below:

The Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 IF EX DG lens is designed for full-frame cameras, it is not an APS-C lens, though it can be used on an APS-C sensor camera.

As well, there will be crop factor to consider when is used on APS-C cameras.

For instance, when is used on Canon 90d there will be a crop factor of 1.6.

So, multiplying the crop factor of 1.6 with 24-70mm the focal range with now be around 38.4 - 112mm instead of 24-70mm.

Hope you found this helpful.

You can check the video here where I shared my thoughts on the Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 IF EX DG lens.

My Canon 4000D back story:

Just a quick back story, I started my photography and videography journey with this camera; the Canon 4000D.

I could remember the first day I got this camera, I had no idea what to do with it.

The Canon 4000D is a beginner-friendly camera. You can easily learn photography basics with this camera, like how to set ISO, shutter speed and aperture.

If you are looking an easy-to-use camera then the Canon EOS 4000D is an excellent option.

I like Competition

Yes, I'm in a competition, not with anyone but myself.

I continually strive to become the best version of myself, for true growth does not come from comparing yourself with others.

Ever since I decided to compete against myself, I have seen significant growth and diverse potential within me that I never knew existed.
