Today in āadventures in homemakingā we have my āI have too many CSA veggiesā egg bake. No recipe, as I made this up, but it contains a blend (thanks to my food processor) of zucchini, tomato, onion, broccoli, green pepper, parsley, dill, and garlic. Weāve got eight pasture raised eggs and an entire container of egg whites topped off with bacon crumbles, and feta cheese. Baked at 400 for 35 minutes.
Could be amazing, could be mediocre, but I have pretty strong faith that all of these ingredients combined could never be terrible. Bonus: my breakfast for the entire week is prepped!
What is your meal plan this week?

I have been in a cocoon season. Feeling less of a desire to create content and more of a desire to just be. Iām still doing plenty. Cleaning, reading, cooking, moving my body, hanging out with friends. I just am feeling this need to step back. And itās okay!
Itās easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We often feel like we need to always be doing something or achieving something, and if weāre not, we can feel guilty or like weāre not doing enough. But sometimes, the most important thing we can do is just be still. Our souls need rest just as much as our bodies do.
I donāt think itās an accident that this is the mood Iām in when I decided to lean more into feminine energy and a softer life. Itās important that we honor the different seasons of our lives, and sometimes that means taking a step back and slowing down. By doing so, we can tap into our intuition, creativity, and inner wisdom.
Yesterday I just sat on the couch in front of the open window with the most perfect breeze coming in (The most beautiful weekend of the year so far ) and let the wind and sun hit my face. It was quiet and relaxing and so energizing for the soul. Thatās the space Iām in. Energizing my soul.
If youāre feeling the same, I encourage you to lean into it. This time can be so vital for our well-being. Let yourself be still. Let yourself be quiet. Let yourself just be. Trust that you are exactly where you need to be in this moment. Trust that when the time is right, youāll emerge from your cocoon with wings ready to fly. You got this! šŖš¼āØ
