This channel started out to be my personal channel, songs friends and myself have written, performed.(now&then will see)

H.G. Roberts(myfather)wanted me to do something with his recordings. Among his friends were GrandOleOpry folks.He was owner & operator of Fiddler's BBQ, Nashville, TN. He helped with & supported, Grand Master Fiddler's Championship founded by Dr.Perry F. Harris along with Howard Forrester & Roy Acuff.
H.G. and His friends would have "get togethers" as they called it. Some of the clips on this channel are segments from"get togethers"or GMFC. The originals have been given, MTSU Center for Popular Music in Murfreesboro, TN.
Roy Acuff gave HG copies of "Open House" recorded late 50's(never aired due to B/W transition to colored TV.) The originals "Open House" tapes, Roy Acuff gave to Country Music Hall of Fame 1991. Roy Acuff also gave HG Roberts copies of movies he was in before giving his copies to Country Music Hall of Fame.
