My husband is in Europe for work. I ordered the new YSL face palette and it's being sent to his hotel. Did I have to contact customer service because I totally botched the delivery address? Yes, yes I did. In my defense, I don't have those special letters on my keyboard, nor could I find them. 🤦Here's hoping it gets to him before he flies home! He's excited he doesn't have to go searching for it.....the Givenchy powder incident last year was hysterical. He's like, "They are all squares!" . I'm like, "the square with four squares! But the old non shiny one!" He said all the squares were shiny. I'm like, not the outside part! It was absolutely hysterical. I sent him pictures to show the person working. He did this post beer garden....I was crying laughing. So I figured to avoid that, I'd just have it sent to his hotel. Here's hoping! 🙏🙏 He's so adorable.

It was brought to my attention that the humans who wanted to buy my channel name have started uploading videos. They inadvertently used my channel name in the latest video in a title screen form. I sent them an email. They fixed it. I sent the stuff to the legal humans. Legal humans are further investigating because the channel name they picked may be borderline "too similar" and such things.
Yes, I am aware of the situation. Legal is legaling. Please do not comment anything negative on that channel. My lawyers are doing whatever they deem necessary in compliance with trademark and copyright laws.

I got that prickly pear serum goo from Sephora. My skin looks spectacular. Was it that? Nope. It's the massive antibiotics I'm on (the flu left me with a wicked sinus infection). So should people that review skincare disclose if they start taking (or do take) medication that would have a skin impact? I can't say it was that product just because I started using it when I started antibiotics. That would be wrong......what do you think?

I get done with work around noon. I am thinking about going to Macy's to see the shade 01 of the YSL highlighter, and maybe hit up this new Asian beauty store that opened here last week.
This week has been rough. Minions invaded campus, and the hospice human took a turn for the worse. I work in person, so I can't be there (2.5 hour drive each way). Husband is staying there, working remotely. In his absence (he cooks), I ate a microwave hot dog which subsequently destroyed me. On the plus side, I can now put my pants into the dryer on full heat. 🤣

Random note: I am a research scientist, with multiple degrees in almost all STEM subjects. I like to figure out how makeup works, why it does/does not work, and what it is really made out of. I hit eyeshadow pan because I scrape of chunks to perform experiments on when I have lab down time, or during a massive snow storm. Snow storm is actually how this channel became a thing…..
