Gesture drawing makes it easy to explore action quickly. For this gorilla run, I created 6 different versions in just a day or two until my head director picked the 6th one. From there I tied it down and took it to final — which takes a lot longer. I personally liked version 1 and 4 the most. Which one do you like best? watch video on watch page

This channel is all about Harut — my original character brought to life through hand-drawn 2D animation. Most of what you’ll see here are Harut’s unique dance animations, where I study movement and push what 2D animation can do.
I’ve worked professionally as an animator for Disney, Warner Bros, FOX, HBO, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, and more — but here I focus on my own work. Every dance is drawn by hand, frame by frame, to give Harut his style and personality.
