Founded in 2007, Shan Shui Conservation Center is a Chinese NGO dedicated to species and ecosystem conservation. We aim to address the challenge of human and nature coexistence in order to achieve a healthy ecosystem and sustainable development. We focus on endangered species in western China, such as the snow leopard, giant panda and snub-nosed monkey, and on urban ecosystems. Through community-based conservation and citizen science research projects, we deploy innovative conservation solutions to achieve an ecologically-balanced world.
