🌺💮✨️Weekends are for knitting! This is my most popular video EVER, and it's stuffed full of my creative tips about knitting & living a happy frugal life. Since I made the video, we've sunk into an inflation 'crisis' in the UK that seems never ending...but as a grad student and an artist, I've had plenty of practice at dealing with being broke 😂 Enjoy my advice about shifting into a mindset where knitting on a budget is always a pleasure and never a chore.

Spring is here, and I am back to making videos for you, my wonderful audience. Youtube tells me it's been 324 days since I last uploaded 😂
The channel will have more of an educational focus in the short-term future because that appears to be the most popular content lately.
Fair warning: as I am out of practice in terms of making videos, it seems that I've become quite camera shy. You may notice that in tomorrow's video footage I seem to be looking anywhere but at the camera lens! I know that's not ideal but please bear with me as I warm up to this again over the coming months.

🌺💮✨️Happy New Year, 2024!
To my wonderful audience at The Crimson Stitchery, I hope you've been keeping well.
The past 6 months have had more "downs" than "ups" for me. The stars, as they say, are not aligned, and I'm not ready to get back to making YouTube videos or other content for TCS.
I'll return when I'm in a better place, and greatly look forward to reconnecting with you then.

💖 I'M TAKING A PAUSE.
Hey everyone, I've decided to take a break from The Crimson Stitchery over the next few months. This will provide some much-needed headspace as I work through the final stages of my PhD thesis. It's going to be an intense summer, but hopefully it'll be the last few months of being a student 🤞🏼.
I'll see you in the late autumn, when I'm on the other side of this.
