Spent this past week in San Francisco! We were there for a "day job" work conference so we didn't get out too much during the day but we did run away each night to have dinner in a different part of town and it was SO much fun. Our recommendation...use Uber or Lyft to navigate this City. Parking garages are SO expensive that Uber turns out to be either equal to or less than what it would have cost to park. There won't be a film about our visit but we DO have a trip planned to visit again this year and we'll pack it full of some of the tips and tricks we learned this week! (this was the view from our room at the Parc55!)

Happy Valentine's Day! This photo is from our first BIG trip for this YouTube Channel. It was on this trip that we knew that making films was going to be our Second Act. We can't wait till we can be on the road full-time so we can bring you even more beautiful views like this one! Thank you SO much for going on this Adventure with us...we LOVE you!

Have you ever been to Joshua Tree National Park? We were SHOCKED at how hot it is in April! That means that right now, in the Winter months, is the best time to visit. If you visit in January you may even get some snow! But in February and March it's 60's and 70's and even with a chance of rain now and then, the very best time to visit!

The Grand Tetons. Our National Parks are simply a treasure. Some are more "grand" than others, some definitely larger than others, but they are all wonders. If you want to support the good in America, make your way to one of them soon...you will never regret it! Grand Teton National Park is one of the most surprising Parks for us. I mean, it's neighbor is Yellowstone so it gets a bit overshadowed...but, and this feels like I'm being unfaithful...we loved Grand Teton more in many ways. Yellowstone is Beautiful...Grand Teton is Dazzling. So if you make it all the way out to Yellowstone...save a couple of days for it's buddy to the South and treat yourself to the wonder of Grand Teton National Park! PS...if you've been...tell us in the comments what YOUR favorite part of this National Park was!?

Good morning Travelers! Now that we are past the 874 days of January (and I have a feeling an even longer February) I think we could all use the amazing beauty of Yosemite National Park in the Spring. Every year the snows from the peaks melt and make these gorgeous vernal ponds which only stick around for a little while. A great reason to visit the Park in mid-May. So if you are looking for a GORGEOUS getaway...this would fit the bill!

If you've been watching our videos then you know I work for a Museum as my "day job"...well the past two weeks this has been my view! With this new exhibition collaboration with the Monterey History & Art Association, we have spent several days right on Old Fisherman's Wharf. Not our usual work view!

I, Cat, am a native Californian. I was born in LA and grew up in Southern California. If you've watched the channel for any length of time you know we go down to LA often and explore beloved and new areas with every visit. I consider it my "hometown" so this week has been hard to watch from Monterey. We have family and friends in the area. One of them lost his business. We watched it in flames on the news and felt our hearts break. This view below is a precious one...the view from a family wedding at a lovely Malibu restaurant. A good deal of the houses you see here are gone. We are grateful for the happy memories. This is one of those things we struggle with when we travel...that places change and when you are able to return you may find it very different than your last visit. We keep telling ourselves "Stay in the moment. Soak up the Wonderful." It's so very hard to do but we keep working on it. We hope you find some new happy memories this weekend!
