Dear friends!

On Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 13:00 IST, the movie "Reconnection" will be live screened along with (!) the participation of the filmmakers.

This film is especially relevant for us at this time of covid. It tells the story of tech professional Sean Fletcher, a typical victim of our Internet-addicted age. Emotionally and spiritually cut-off, Sean stops in Vrindavan, India on the way to Nepal, and finds that the sacred village breaks him down to his core and helps him reconnect with his own heart and inner values.

It has made it into the official selections of 27 festivals around the world, and won 15 awards. These include 1st prize in the ‘Best Short Film’ category at Toronto’s ReelHeART International Film Festival, much valued by independent film-makers; and ‘Best Cinematography’ in California’s Back in the Box Competition.

Now for the first time, the screening will include a live interview with the film's director Shyam Gopal Prabhu (Maxim Varfolomeev), videography and marketing specialist, founder of FIVE Pictures. He will give us a glimpse behind the stage of this marvelous film & share valuable insights about spirituality in professional life.

The event is organized by the Middle East based community "Awakening the Soul", a platform of like-minded professionals and adults, seeking an intellectual and reasonable dialogue on spirituality.
