Dushyant Ahuja is a prominent name as a singer of Sindhi community
in India.
He was born in post partition period in India yet he carries on the rich music legacy of sindhi music. Sindhi folk singing is his indefinite search for identity, which he has taken as ‘Tapasya’ of his life, enriching it with his own insightful original touches.
Born on 21st January 1961 he started making his talent manifest through youth festival in 1978 and 1980 at state level standing first in both the years. Since then, he has spread his Dynamism in singing in Sindhi, Hindi, Gujarati and Urdu touring over various cities in India and being internationally known as an eminent Sindhi folk artist, he has been on concert tours to Gulf countries, Pakistan etc. He has been associated with All India Radio as an artist. In order to groom the young and upcoming singers he has been conducting workshops at Delhi and Ahmedabad.
