Happy Easter Folks! ^w^ So yesterday, I went with my girlfriend to see Colorful Stage The Movie; A Miku Who Can't Sing. I know nothing about Hatsune Miku and just went because she was a huge fan of the game. And not gonna lie, it was pretty cute. ^^ Animation was nice, music was decent and even though I got none of the references, I did resonate with the message that it's possible for multiple forms of art to convey the same message or idea and therefore touch a different demographic of people. There is no single use fix all for everyone's problems, no piece of art that will touch everyone. There's also no rule that only one artist can tackle a specific topic or message or idea before it's "taken". And more than anything, art can be used to help those who are struggling, even other artists themselves. :)

Alright, I watched The Gaslight District pilot on the Glitch Productions Youtube last night and frankly, I was overwhelmed! Both in a good and bad way. The presentation was immaculate for an indie animation project, but I also felt like they were trying to shove in too much at once to the point where the pacing felt kinda rushed and the characters were a little underdeveloped. Still like it enough to wanna check out more for what that's worth. Anyway, check out my review of Gaslight District which is out now and remember, comments and likes are always appreciated! ^^

Hey guys. :) So there isn't much going on in the animation sphere this week, so I decided to go back to Spongebob Squarepants for a bit of a chill video. Today I'm gonna be ranking every Spongebob character's first ever lines! Some people fail to understand the narrative weight that rests on a character's first ever lines, and the Spongebob cast has some all stars and some stinkers in its cast so I'm gonna rank them all today! Ok, now this is a video that I REALLY wanna hear feedback for. I have no idea what the public opinion of A Minecraft Movie is. X) The reviews and reviewers say it's bad, some people say it's so bad it's good, some say it's just straight up good, some say it's fun for kids, some say kids would get bored, I dunno who to believe. Personally, I wasn't feeling it. So much so I dedicated a little spot in my next video to try and write my own version of it. I'm not exactly a minecraft super fan, yet I know enough to get by, and even I felt there was some missed potential here. Anyway, likes and comments are appreciated and if you went to see The Minecraft movie, feel free to share your thoughts. I'll have an actual animation video for ya next week. This week was just insane for me so I apologize for doing something kinda outta left field. X)

Hey guys. So this week was what I like to call an "Unwind Week". Just so I don't go insane with my content anymore, I'm gonna have weeks where I'm still working but don't have the added pressure of a major release every 7 days. On these weeks, you'll likely get a YouTube short or a little current event Box Bytes, like the Shrek one I did a few weeks ago. Hope that's ok. <3
Anyway, got a new short for ya! Continuing the theme of revisiting old projects I never finished, here's part 2 of The Most Dangerous Drinks in Cartoons! I even took some suggestions from you guys like rig juice from Regular Show and snake rice wine from the Simpsons! Hope you guys enjoy it and comments are always appreciated. Maybe I'll do most dangerous foods next or even BEST cartoon drinks that I wanna try IRL. We'll have to see. :)

Soooooo the Nintendo Direct just dropped, and everyone is going nuts over this reveal in particular......could my fellow Nintendo heads explain to me what this series is all about? Is it just a "watch your Miis live their lives" simulator? Like the Sims with less interaction? I kinda wanna buy this but I wanna be sold on it first. Has anyone played it before? ^w^
