Book Recommendations
I did not post for a while due to life's commitments, and also, I did not recommend a book before, however I found myself that I was obliged to get up from my hibernation!

This book *‘The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo’*  by *Taylor Jenkins Reid* is exceptional, remarkable and really worth reading. I have never been attached to a novel for a while since ‘Lady of the Camellias/ La Dame aux Camelias’ by Alexander Dumas.

This book left me with wounds and several lessons. It is sassy, melancholic, heartbreaking, enthralling, reflective, and immerses you into the world of old Hollywood but it never detaches you from our era.

Without going to give a spoiler and definitely not to be dramatic, but I felt pain for Evelyn at the same time being furious with her. She is a complex and clear person at the same time. The journey through Evelyn Hugo's life is filled with many trials and tribulations, love and loss, mistakes, and redemption. This is the beauty of her character; she is a human being.

Taylor Jenkins Reid is exceptional and talented at crafting the characters that makes you feel every emotion. All the characters were so realistic, so you think they are so authentic not fictional. I adored Reid's writing style. It's filled with so much charm that it just oozes off the pages. So, you are looking for more and keep you engaged. The story obviously tackles serious issues in the past and now.

This drama fits under the categories of (in my opinion): Adult historical fiction, abuse, death/grief, homophobia, biphobia, racism and romance.
