Its been a while planner pals! It’s been two whole years since I last posted — and oh wow, have things changed.
In that time, I was officially diagnosed with ADHD and autism — which, honestly, explains a lot about why every planner I ever touched ended up in a glorious, chaotic journal graveyard.
This week’s video is about how I finally found a bullet journal method that actually works for my AuDHD brain — no guilt, no rules, just structure and flexibility in one dopamine-friendly package.
If you’ve ever started a planner with high hopes and ghosted it 10 days later... this one’s for you. 💥

Hi, I’m Nicola — creative strategist, neurodivergent thinker, and lifelong lover of structured plans.
I’m late-diagnosed AuDHD (autism + ADHD), and like many women, I spent years masking — high achieving, people-pleasing, and burning out trying to fit into systems that were never built for brains like mine.
I grew up in South Africa as an only child, always a little too intense and imaginative for “normal.” After losing my mum in 2007, I found mindfulness, creativity, and journaling — and eventually built and sold My Inner Creative, a brand that helped thousands find joy in planning.
This channel is for neurodivergent minds who crave structure but need flexibility. It’s where creativity meets executive dysfunction, and where productivity is redefined to actually work for our brains. I share bullet journal ideas, planning tools, high-masking, burnout, leadership, and real-life systems that support emotional regulation and authenticity.
