👋 hello everyone! 👋
I have too little time to make another video before the end of the year, so here some random facts instead!
1. 🎨 I am a sculptor and a painter, and I work a lot, probably too much. I did 31 artworks this year 😶
2. Winter is my favorite season and the only time where I decorate my home 🎄
3. I am completely addicted to hot chocolate. Seriously. I drink one almost every day. My favorite plant milk is soy 🍫🫕 and I use dark chocolate that I let melt in the milk. It's serious business.
4. I have been in a serious relationship for 18 years, but I don't want to get married 🤷♀️ we've got a civil contract instead. I love him to bits, he's the best.
5. I'm terribly afraid of dogs because I was bitten very badly by a German shepherd a decade ago. I've learned to actively ignore every dog I might come across and sometimes I switch road sides.
6. I'm vegetarian, almost vegan, for environmental reasons. I'm not fully vegan because I love certain foods and after hating myself for eating them once in a while I decided to embrace my imperfections and just try my best 🤷♀️
7. When I don't do art, (which let's be honest, isn't often) I enjoy reading (sci-fi, fantasy or natural history), video games (simulations) and going for walks.
8. I speak three languages fluently, French, German and English. That's because I was born in Frankfurt, Germany, my mum is French and I went to a French school, and well English is the language of the internet.
9. I'm currently learning Korean 🇰🇷 because I'm going to go on an art residency at @naughty.muse.studios in Busan next spring. I'm super excited! 😄
10. I do yoga everyday, and recently started climbing indoors 🧘♂️🧗♂️
Thank you so much for all of your support!
Without all of you doing art would not be as fun but also not possible 🤗🎨

Thank you so much for the outpour of love and kindness on my latest video, it is very helpful to see how much you appreciate my work and just how nice and supportive you have all been 💙
I just wanted to reassure you that I am much better than in January, I just need to be extra careful and not force myself to work when I'm tired and really don't want to.
I am taking a few days of rest for now and I will see on a day-to-day basis how I feel and how it goes.
And I will come back with a fresh happy video. I just don't know when for now.
Here a picture of a recent sculpture of mine "Treasure".
Again thank you, your comments mean a lot. 💙

Editing the process of this one!
I still need to shoot myself and talk (I just did but there was a glitch so I have to start all over again!)
In the meantime here's me posing with the sculpture "Losing my Song Culture"

My biggest colored pencil drawing to date :)
Very rainbow-y!
Also happens to me my latest art video if you want to check out the creative process and time-lapse. Not a how-to, but I do share a few tips on how to draw and which colored pencils to get, especially in terms of lightfastness.
Today's also the 14th of February so happy Valentine's Day!
Have a lovely day!

Well, hello there!
Lovely to meet you!
I am Stéphanie and best known for my sculptures on trash or thrifted objects. I also like to draw with ink, and paint with watercolor. Recently I have been getting into oils as well.
At the core, my work is about the impending doom that is hovering over our heads: climate change, the energetic crisis, pollution and all the things that humans do in order to destroy Earth with precision.
But at the same time, nature is resilient and growing back, more beautiful than ever.
It’s a cheerful apocalypse. :)
Here on YouTube I share the creative process behind my work.
