Zelos have reached out and asked if I want to take a look at some of their watches.

Would you like me to dive into Zelos?

I will, of course, receive zero payments, zero contributions of any kind and I will also not keep any watches. The only thing they will pay is shipping and duties.

I am back from Watches & Wonders. Totally beat, but it was worth it.

My next video won't be about anything W&W related. Need some time to process my thoughts.

I do want to share some initial thoughts

- The Cartier releases were much cooler than I originally felt

- I like the look of the Zenith Extreme diver releases, but they are functionally unwearable

- Green Grand Seiko? Yes please

- IWC: Cool watches. Nobody really cares. No lines. No waiting time.

- Patek on denim? Reminds me of Steve Buscemi "How do you do fellow kids?". Patek is totally trying to be cool

- Nomos. Wasn't initially impressed but when you see all those tangentes laid out, you kind of do get impressed

- Best experience: Speaking with the people at Sinn. I have gained massive respect for what they are doing. (Had a long talk about expansion membranes in oil filled watches that go to 5.000 meters)

- Second best experience: Speaking with the people at Fears watches. Also super cool

- Eye opener: It's a small insular industry. Everybody knows everybody.

- Second eye opener: It's a small insular industry. Everbody buys components from the same suppliers. I kind of knew this already, but it was cemented on this trip

- Realisation: Rolex is even more polarising than ever before. The love is still there but the hate is real

- Customer experience: The smaller brands are just nicer to you and spend more time on you. The big brands just want your email so they can send you marketing.

- I'll do a compilation review video on 5-10 of the most notable watches. I'm likely going to deep dive into GS, Zenith, Doxa and 1 or two others. I'm not sure I can be bothered with the Tudor or Rolex models in detail. They're great, but there's enough information out there already and I don't think I can bring anything new to the table.

And finally... Thanks to everybody that said hi. Still coming to terms with my "fame" but you were all super kind and it meant a ton. Thanks a million.

Cheers.
